Church

This month we tackle a big subject, often the elephant in the room for lapsed Catholics with living parents. We were brought up in a strict Catholic household. Our parents had strong, unshakable faith, and sought to instill this faith in us through CCD (Catholic religious education), Catholic school, enforced church attendance until the age of 18, and insistence on Catholic-approved behavior; for example: no swearing, no thinking about swearing, and if you couldn’t help but think about swearing you felt really bad about it. We will likely revisit the topic of Church in the future, but here’s our first take. We hope you enjoy, and forgive :)
