Tuscany, Italy 2019

May 01, 2017 by Diane Barrett

Linda-Marie and Diane Barrett are second generation Irish-American sisters from Boston. Born a year apart, they're Irish twins who share the big and small things in their lives. They come from a large family, with three siblings and countless cousins adding so much love and laughter at gatherings. They miss their father, Joe, who exemplified kindness, grace under pressure, and quiet authority. And they dearly miss the matriarch of the Barrett clan, their mom Peggy, who passed away in March 2020. She was a mentor, confidante, family historian, jokester, and Catholic rule-enforcer.

By conveying the challenges and rewards of a life filled with love,  humor, and endless curveballs, Linda-Marie and Diane hope to inspire, coax a laugh, spark reflection, and make a difficult day better. They want to connect with you, dear reader, and grow wiser together. Pour a glass of wine or a cup of tea, sit back, and read on! And please stay in touch. We'd love to hear from you!
